Phonak have announced the release of their latest hearing aid platform, Lumity.

Available in a range of receiver-in-the-canal options

Phonak Lumity will be available in a range of receiver-in-the-canal options all of which will be powered by a rechargeable battery.

Focussed on conversations

Lumity aids include Phonak’s new SmartSpeech Technology, this aims to improve speech understanding and decrease listening effort, especially in more challenging environments. Advances in microphone and speech recognition technology aim to further improve speech understanding in noise. Research undertaken by Phonak has shown that Lumity can offer a more than 15% improvement in speech understanding in noisy environments when compared to their previous Marvel hearing aids.

Moment are the latest range of hearing aids form Widex, Widex offers a unique approach, leveraging an ultra-fast processor to deliver a pure, natural sound free from distortion. Often hearing aid wearers will describe the sound from hearing aids as being metallic or robotic, the high speed processing of Moment eliminates it. As is to be expected Widex Moment includes rechargeable and Bluetooth enabled options.

Phonak have introduced three new hearing aid products which are no available for purchase through CMD Hearing Care.

Phonak Audeo Slim

Audeo Slim has an innovative streamlined design that is created to follow the natural shape of the ear. Within the discrete shape the aid incorporates the convenience of rechargeable technology and Bluetooth connectivity.

Additionally Audeo Slim contains a step and activity tracker which can give insights into your activity levels via the included app. The app can also be used to set activity goals and personalise your hearing aids.

Phonak Audeo Fit

The Phonak Audeo Fit contains the step and activity tracking found in the Audeo Slim and adds heart rate monitoring to provide further information on your health and wellbeing.

The Phonak Audeo Fit of course includes Bluetooth functionality and the excellent sound quality you would expect from Phonak hearing aids.

Phonak Audeo Life

The Audeo Life again offers excellent sound quality, step and activity tracking, but this time in a water and sweat proof form. The Audeo Life is protected whether you are by the pool or exercising.
