In-the-canal hearing aids
In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aids fit comfortably within the the ear canal and perhaps offer the ultimate in terms of features and performance.
ITC aids are generally fitted with two microphones each, when worn as a pair the aids can communicate with one another to provide the best possible hearing in noisy situations. The aids can also be used with wireless accessories, therefore sound can be sent directly into the hearing aid from sources such as television and mobile phones.
The slightly larger style of ITC aids means that some people can find them easier to manipulate.
